Brad’s Story: “You Don’t Have to Be Cut On Anymore”

Skin Cancer Fighter

At 79 years old, Brad B. is proving that staying active and informed can change your health—and your outlook. A lifelong pilot, veteran, and golfer, Brad has spent decades in the sun. “At around 35, I started having skin cancer operations,” he shared. “I’ve had 24 surgeries above my neck and two on my chest. My forehead and both earlobes have been redesigned.”

After years of surgeries, Brad saw a GentleCure commercial and decided to learn more. “I researched IGSRT and couldn’t believe more doctors weren’t talking about it. It’s almost a 100% cure rate—without cutting, stitching, or scarring.”

When new basal cell cancers appeared on his nose and lip in 2024, Brad refused more Mohs surgery. “I’ve seen what that can do. I absolutely did not want that.” Thankfully, a local clinic near his home had just partnered with GentleCure.

“I just want to make it easier for others to get this treatment.
It works.”

Brad began Image-Guided Superficial Radiotherapy (IGSRT), receiving treatments three times a week for six weeks. “I’ve had zero side effects,” he said. “The skin is pink, not painful or uncomfortable. I walk in, get treated, and go play golf.”

Now, Brad proudly spreads the word. “I tell everyone I meet that they don’t have to be cut on anymore. I take my hat off and say, ‘You could have surgery and look like me—or check into GentleCure.’”

As a veteran, Brad is also advocating to have IGSRT covered by the VA. “I just want to make it easier for others to get this treatment. It works.”
