Is there an error in Deana’s video?

Some of you contacted us about what you believed was a mistake in one of our television ads, a continuity error. In the ad, a GentleCure® patient named Deana stands in front of a mirror and points to the spot where she had skin cancer. Later in the ad, we show her receiving treatment. The concern is that we made a continuity error, pointing to one side of the face in one scene and treating the other side in another.

We doublechecked and confirmed that there was no continuity error. Deana was using her left hand to point across her face to the right side, the same spot the clinician treated later in the ad. The confusion came from the mirror and the camera angles.

The photos below show that what might have been perceived as a continuity error, wasn’t. Deana was always pointing to the right side of her face, and the focus of the doctor and the RTT was also on the right side of her face.

Thank you for your concern and for your commitment to researching all the options available for treatment of nonmelanoma skin cancer, including surgery-free GentleCure.
