When Bob E. learned he had basal cell carcinoma on his nose, the only option he was initially offered was surgery.
“The doctor said, ‘We’re going to have to cut you here and cut you here… I don’t know how deep it will be, and if we don’t get it all, we’ll have to go back in.’ I didn’t want stitches and cuts on my face—and I didn’t like that he wouldn’t know what was happening until he started cutting.”
A respected nurse encouraged Bob to seek another opinion. That appointment changed everything.
“He told me I had a squamous spot here and a basal cell here, but that I had another option—Image-Guided SRT. I said, ‘Let’s go, man. No cutting, no nothing.’”
Bob began 20 IGSRT treatments, guided each visit by high-frequency ultrasound.
“My therapist showed me how the cancer was shrinking every day. I’d go home and tell my wife, ‘It’s going down!’ It was cool to see.”

He credits much of his confidence to the care team.
“She was wonderful—well trained, comforting, and made me feel like a million dollars. No pain, no inconvenience. It was impressive.”
Today, Bob says he’ll never choose anything else.
“As I get older, I know I might get more spots, but he will be the first guy I call. I’m not going anywhere else. This therapy is perfect. People need to know they have options. I don’t want someone cutting my face if they don’t have to.”
Now a passionate believer in IGSRT, Bob shares his story widely.
“I’ve made hundreds of comments on Facebook telling people about it. Folks thanked me because they didn’t want to be cut either. I respect this therapy 110%—maybe more. I’m a believer, brother.”
